HEB Digital

For the summers of 2022, 2023, and 2024 I worked as a Network Engineering Intern on HEB Digital's Network Engineering team. In my time at HEB I was given the opportunity to assist in equipment upgrades, network device config management, and software tool development. This strengthened my knowledge of networking fundamentals, my understanding of Cisco, Aruba, and Juniper networking hardware, and my understanding of best practices for team-based software development.

Working at ITAC

ITAC at Texas State

I am currently an employee of the IT Assistance Center at Texas State University, where I work as a member of Learning Spaces Support. In this role, my team looks after all classrooms and teaching theaters at the university, handling trouble calls as they come in and performing regular day-to-day maintenance. This position has allowed me to work in a more client-facing environment where I can provide user training and exercise my troubleshooting skills in time-sensitive situations.

House Audio Engineer

I am currently one of the house audio engineers at Oakwood Church in New Braunfels, Texas. In this role I handle both in-person and online sound for Sunday church services as well as special events. I also manage the routing of audio throughout the building, using Dante over their house network to send sound to different rooms simultaneously. This role has given me experience mixing for live and online audiences, working directly with individuals to suit their specific needs, and handling the technical side of networked audio.

Freelance Audio Engineer

As a freelance audio engineer, I have worked in many venues doing live sound across the central Texas region, and done studio work in Austin and San Antonio. I have had the privilege of running sound for multiple international SXSW showcases at Speakeasy Bar in Austin, Texas, and assisting studio sessions at Church House Studios, Cibolo Studios, Dogstar Studios, Antimatter Studios, Wire Recording Studios, and Fire Station Studios. This work has taught me practical applications of recording techniques, mixing techniques, and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment.
